  • Is there a minimum and maximum age for children’s participation in MTCP?
    MTCP’s services are specifically tailored for children age 0-6 years old

  • Is there a cost to join MTCP?
    MTCP provides free support services to assist parents and caregivers in the community. In addition MTCP runs fun-filled summer trips with many discounted group outings such as Wild Water Kingdom, strawberry picking and Canada’s Wonderland. Through its  fundraising efforts MTCP is able to take its members on approximately 10 trips per year, including chartering private transportation (buses) for its outings.MTCP provides its services by making the best use of limited Government funding. Please visit our Volunteer section  should you wish to assist by providing financial donations or volunteering your time at the Centre. You may also visit our Wish List  for more information on items that are currently needed by the Centre.
  • How can I join the program and participate in MTCP’s activities? Do I have to be a regular attendee at MTCP to be able to participate in the trips and special events?
    Joining the program is free and simple. Come by and complete a free registration to sign up with MTCP and this provides you and your family access to all MTCP’s services. Not a regular attendee? You are also welcome to participate in MTCP’s trips and special events

  • How is MTCP funded?
    MTCP receives limited Government funding to help it provide its services. MTCP also holds a series of fund-raising events throughout the course of the year to help supplement its basic Government funding.   • What can I do to help?
    There are many ways that the community can help support MTCP and its services. MTCP accepts financial donations, volunteers to work at the Center, or donations in kind. Please visit our Volunteer  and Wish List  pages for further information about making a valuable contribution to MTCP

  • Can we attend the program if my child is sick?
    For the protection of both the children and staff at MTCP we do ask that you do not attend the Center while you or your child is ill.
